Job Description: Human Ressources Specialist
A Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in the recruitment process, assisting in the coordination and execution of various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. Responsibilities include the following:
Job Posting and Candidate Sourcing:
Create and post job openings on various job boards, the company website, social media, what’s app groups, linked in and other relevant platforms.
- Draft/revise compelling job descriptions.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job portals, social media, and professional networks.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings on our Odoo platform.
- Job Performance Metrics
- The Human Resources Specialist goal is to onboard 10 qualified candidates weekly. A qualified candidate is one who has prior sales experience and fits the job description criteria.
- Application Screening and Interview Coordination:
- Review resumes and applications to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
- Communicate with candidates regarding the status of their applications.
- Schedule and conduct interviews.
- Arrange logistics for interview video conferencing setups.
- Streamline the training process by conducting ongoing training for Sales Representatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Documentation and Onboarding Support:
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as employment contracts and confidentiality agreements, is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with compliance-related activities, such as background checks and contracts signed and filed.
- Ensure that new employees have the necessary information and resources for a smooth transition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our Odoo platform. Ie, how many potential hires, how many hired, etc.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to understand staffing needs and priorities.
- Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on the status of Independent Sales Representatives.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the recruitment process.
The role of the Human Resources Specialist requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Additionally, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this role.
The Human Resources Specialist is expected to work 20 hours a week with a flexible schedule.
